Anyone can read this
Anything you post in the community can be read by anyone, including people who are not signed in, and it may appear in search results. Please do not post confidential work material or personal information.
What is shown as your name
Your posts carry the display name (nickname) set on your account. Your email address is never shown. You can change the display name under “Account settings” in any of the apps, but posts you have already made keep the name as it was at the time.
When you attach an image
Images you attach can be seen by anyone, just like the post itself. We re-encode every image we receive, so records such as where a photo was taken are removed — but whatever is legible on a screen or a document in the picture stays. Please check what is in frame before you attach it.
People read this in other languages
The community is published in eight languages. Your posts may be shown translated automatically into the language of the reader. Those translations are machine-made, and the original text always stays available.
What to avoid
Posts like the following may be hidden without notice.
- Language that hurts other people, or harassment
- Anything that infringes the rights of others, including reposting scripts or images without permission
- Repeated identical posts, or posts written purely to advertise
- Other people’s personal information
- Anything unlawful
Tell us when you see a problem
If you come across a problematic post, let us know. We will look at it and hide it if needed. We keep a record of what was decided so it can be traced later.
How posts are used
We may quote your posts, or summarise them, in news entries and manuals. When we do, we credit your display name. If you would rather we did not, let us know.
